âReal Timeâ host Bill Maher is in full panic mode over the fact that former President Donald Trump has been âvery quietâ since leaving the White House.
Bill Maher Nervous About Trumpâs âRadio Silenceâ
During his show on Friday night, Maher talked about how nervous he is about the âradio silenceâ that has come from Trump in the weeks since he left office.
âDoes that not alarm you a little?â Maher asked his viewers, according to Fox News. âItâs like in Jaws when the shark went out to sea for a little while. I think it will be back.â
Later in the show, Maher once again brought up how quiet Trump has been as he talked to his panel.
âWhere is Trump?â the HBO host wondered. âItâs like heâs in the âWhere Are They Now?â bit. I am so shocked that this guy has been so quiet! Are you not?â
âI just donât trust that, you know? Itâs just so not like him! âRadio silenceâ is just never a term I associated with Donald Trump,â Maher added. âHe isnât exactly ⦠âfading away gracefully.’â

âHeâs not giving up control over the Republican Party,â Jones said of the former president. âAnd I think that itâs going to put a lot of pressure on Republicans who thought they were gonna be able to turn the page. But when Kevin McCarthy, who knows better, decides heâs going to continue to allow Donald Trump to run the party into the ground, thatâs not good.â
This comes one week after Maher said that âwe canât blame everythingâ on Trump when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic. .
âNow that weâve gotten rid of Trump, weâre faced with this problem as Americans. ⦠Now we canât blame everything on him,â he said. âNow we gotta look in the mirror and weâll find out in the next hundred days, like, if it was all Trump who was the bad guy.â

âIâve said from the beginning with the virus, he certainly played his part horribly, horribly beginning with getting that little team out of China that couldâve stopped the whole fâin thing to begin with, but itâs also, I think, on the American medical establishment that never told the American people the best way you can handle this is get yourself in better shape, get your immune system better, stop eating sâ food and sugar and day drinking,â Maher added.
âThey never had the guts to do that,â he continued. âThey wouldnât even say the word âobesityâ on television. That would be fat-shaming. The code is now âprecondition.’â
