But the one-month-old has now bonded with her parents at Philadelphia Zoo, US.

The zoo said: “This is the first birth of this species here.”

“We’re so excited to introduce the newest member of our Zoo family – a baby François’ langur.

“When she was first born, our team noticed Mei Mei wasn’t attending to her, which isn’t uncommon for first time moms.

“So our vet staff took the baby to the animal hospital for a warming bath and some food.

“Since then, she and mum have bonded and the entire family is doing great.

“We’ve named her Quý Báu – pronounced Qwee-bow which means “precious” in Vietnamese.
